Jowar roti

Jowar roti - ಜೋಳದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ 

Ingredients:

Jowar flour- 1 cup
Water- 1&1/4 cup
Salt to taste (optional)
Oil- 1 tsp

Recipe:

Boil the water by adding salt & oil.

When the water boils; add jowar flour.

Keep on stirring to avoid lumps.

Keep it aside to get slightly cool(not completely).

When it is comfortable to handle; kneed dough well.

Make balls like chapati.

Roll it using rolling pin by dusting the flour.
Cook both the sides and serve with any side dish.

Note: 

  • As I am not comfortable to prepare directly on tava following this rolling method.
  • It is good to kneed the dough ball before rolling the roti.
