Pineapple jam

Ingredients:

Pineapple- 1
Sugar- 2 cups
Lemon juice- few drops

Recipe:

Grind the pineapple to prepare  smooth paste.
Pour the pineapple paste in a pan.
Add sugar. Sir continuously till the consistency thickens. Switch off the flame.
Add few drops of lemon juice.
Let it cool completely.
Store in an airtight dry glass jar.
Keep in refrigerator and use for bread, dosa, chapathi etc.

Note:

  • If you like you can add 1/4 tsp of powdered clove, nutmeg or Cinnamon.
  • I have not added any colour and preservative.
