Veggie Genasale

Ingredients:

Rice - 1 cup
Grated vegetables (carrot, beans, cabbage, baby corn, green chilly, - 1 cup
Onion - finely chopped (2 tbl sp)
Green chilly- finely chopped (1/2tsp)
Garlic- finely chopped (1/4 tsp)
lemon juice - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp

Recipe:

Soak rice for overnight and grind it to a smooth paste. (the batter should not be too thin)

Heat oil in a pan; fry the garlic and onion, add grated veggies; stir for few minutes.

Allow it to cool add salt and lemon juice (the mixture should be dry like subji)

Spread the rice paste on a flamed banana leaf and spread the veggies on one half of the rice paste fold it and steam cook for 15 minutes.
