Green peas masala - Aloo matar gravy

Ingredients:

Green peas- 1 cup
Palak- One bunch(optional)
Potato- 1
Tomato-1
Onion-1
Green chilly- 1
Ginger-garlic paste- 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Chilly powder- 1/4 tsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Ghee or oil- 2 tbl sp
Coriander leaves- Few

Recipe:

Finely chop the palak, tomato and onions.

Cook the potato and mash it.

Cook the palak leaves and green peas.

Heat ghee or oil in a pan & fry the cumin seeds.

Fry the onions and the tomato.

Finally add green chilly, ginger-garlic paste.

Now add cooked palak, mashed potato & green peas.

Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, garam masala & salt.

Add water if needed. Cook until the gravy boils.

Add chopped coriander leaves.

Serve with chapati or roti.
