Ragi - Fingermillet Nankhatai


Ragi/Fingermillet flour- 1/2 cup
Wheat flour- 1/2 cup
Powdered sugar- 2 tbl sp
Ghee- 1/2 cup
Baking powder-1/4 tsp
Baking soda- 1/4 tsp
Cardamom powder- 1/4 tsp
Badam & Cashew nut(finely chopped or powdered)- 2 tbl sp


In a bowl beat the sugar and ghee till it becomes fluffy.

Now add ragi flour, wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, cardamom powder, cashews & badam .

Mix well to prepare a dough. Make small balls and slightly press it.

Grease the try with 1 tsp ghee and place the balls.

Bake them in preheated oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes until slight colour change with some cracks on the cookies.
Enjoy with a cup of tea.

Store in an airtight container.
