Kara boondi


Gram flour- 1 cup
Salt to taste
Chilly powder to taste
Oil to fry
Peanuts- 2 tbl sp
Cashew nuts- 2 tbl sp
Curry leaves- One strand


Mix all the ingredients by adding required amount of water. The consistency of the batter should be like dosa batter.

Heat oil. Pour a little batter on the boondi ladle. The batter will fall through the holes into the hot oil.

Fry them until golden brown and drain excess oil on a paper.
Kara boondi
Add fried peanuts cashew nuts and curry leaves. Add salt & chilly powder if needed.

Mix well and serve.
