Mint Poori

Mint Poori -ಪುದೀನಾ ಪೂರಿ 

Ingredients:

Wheat flour- 1 cup
Mint leaves- 1/2 cups
Coriander leaves- 1 tbl sp
green chilly to taste
ginger to taste
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
sugar- 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste

Recipe:

Grid the mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilly, ginger, sugar & salt into a fine paste.

Take wheat flour in a bowl; add the mint paste.

Knead well to prepare a dough. (The dough must be bit thicker than chapati dough)

Make small balls out of this dough and roll it over a flour dusted surface using rolling pin. (This must be smaller than chapati)

Heat oil in a kadai and fry the poori's till it puffs or light golden colour.

Take out poori's and drain excess oil on a paper.

Serve hot poori's with any side dish of your choice. (I prepared potato bhaji)
