Kodubale - ಕೋಡುಬಳೆ 


Rice flour- 1cup
Maida- 1/4 cup
Ground nut powder- 1/4 cup
Grated coconut- 2 tbl sp
Asafoetida- small pinch
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
Chilly powder to taste
turmeric powder- small pinch
Salt to taste


Roast the ground nut & remove the outer skin.

Grind the ground nut & grated coconut to a fine paste.

Mix all the ingredients. Add little water and kneed well to prepare a thick dough.

Select a surface for rolling the dough to make kodubale.

Apply little oil to your hand & to the surface.

Now take small pinch of dough and roll it on the greased surface using your hand. Coil the two ends.

Repeat this process for the remaning dough.

Deep fry until golden brown.

Remove the excess oil on a paper and let it cool.

Store in an airtight container.
