Carrot Poori

Carrot Poori - ಕ್ಯಾರೆಟ್ ಪೂರಿ 


Wheat flour- 1 cup
Carrot(chopped) 1/2 cups
green chilly to taste
ginger to taste
Salt to taste
Oil to fry


Grid the carrot, green chilly, ginger, sugar & salt into a fine paste.

Take wheat flour in a bowl; add the carrot paste paste.

Knead well to prepare a dough. (The dough must be bit thicker than chapati dough)

Make small balls out of this dough and roll it over a flour dusted surface using rolling pin. (This must be smaller than chapati)

Heat oil in a kadai and fry the poori's till it puffs or light golden colour.

Take out poori's and drain excess oil on a paper.

Serve hot poori's with any side dish of your choice.
