Uppu neeru sole(Raw jackfruit in brine) palya

Ingredients:

Uppu neeru sole(Raw jackfruit in brine)- 2 cups
Salt to taste
Tamarind to taste
Jaggery to taste
Turmeric powder- small pinch
Grated coconut- 2 tbl sp
Oil- 2 tsp
Red chilly- 1
Urad dall-1 tsp
Mustard seeds- ¼ tsp
Curry leaves- 1 strand

Method:

Soak the brined jackfruit in water for about 4-5 hours to remove excess salt.

Discard the soaked water and wash again with fresh water. Finely Chop them.
Take 2 tsp oil in a pan & fry the red chilly, urad dall & mustard seeds. Finally add curry leaves.

Now add chopped jackfruit, salt, jaggery, tamarind, turmeric powder & water; cook well until water evaporates.

Finally add grated coconut & mix it well.
