Moong dal Murukku

Ingredients:

Rice flour- 1 cups
Moong dal powder (ಹೆಸರುಬೇಳೆ)- 2 tblsp
(Note: Roast the  moong dal for about 2-4 minutes and prepare a fine powder.)
Butter- 2 tblsp
Asafoetida- small pinch
Cumin seeds or Sesame seeds- 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil to fry

Method:

1. Prepare a thick dough by mixing all the ingredients and adding little amount of boiling water.
2. Heat oil in a pan
3. Now press the dough using chakli maker into the hot oil and fry the murukku until light golden brown.
4. Now yummy, crispy moong dal murukku is ready to taste.
5. Let it comes to room temperature and then store in an air tight container.
