Dry coconut (Copra) Chutney powder


Grated dry coconut- 1 cup
Red chilly- 10
Urad dal- 2 tbl sp
Channa dal- 2 tbl sp
Groundnut- 2 tbl sp
Flax seeds- 1 tbl sp
Salt to taste
Tamarind  to taste
Jaggery- 1/4 tsp(optional)
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves- 1 bunch

Method :

Roast the grated coconut on low flame for a few minutes till light brown.

Roast the groundnut, urad dal, channa dal, flax seeds, curry leaves separately.

Grind the coconut and other ingredients to a coarse powder.

Store in an airtight container.

Serve with dosa, roti, chapati, poori, paratha etc.
