Urad dal Appam-Paniyaram

Urad dal Appam-Paniyaram

Ingredients: 

White rice- 1 cup
Urad dal- 1/2  cup
Salt to taste
Oil- 1/4 cup

Method:

Soak rice and urad dal separately for about 4-5 hours.
Grind thseparately to a smooth paste.
Keep it overnight in separate container for fermentation.
Mix both the batter; add salt and mix well.
Heat Paniyaram pan and add some oil/ghee to all the moulds.
Fill the Paniyaram moulds with batter and cook both the sides.
Serve hot with coconut chutney.
