Ribben Pakoda


Rice flour- 1 cup
Besan(gram flour)- ½ cup
Butter(unsalted)- 1 tbl sp
Asafoetida- small pinch
Pepper powder/chilly powder-1/2 tsp
Sesame seeds- 1 tsp(optional)
Cumin seeds- 1 tsp(optional)
Salt to taste
Oil to fry


Take all the ingredients in bowl; add required amount of water and prepare a thick & soft dough.

Fill this dough in the muruku press; use ribben pakoda mould.
Heat oil and press the ribben pakoda into the hot oil.

Deep fry until golden brown.

Take out the pakoda and drain excess oil on a paper.
Let it cool and store it in an airtight container.
