Mysore pak
Mysore pak - ಮೈಸೂರು ಪಾಕ್ 

Ingredients:

Besan (gram flour)- 1 cup
Sugar- 2 cups
Ghee- 1 cup
Water- ½ cup

Recipe:

Prepare sugar syrup of one string consistency by mixing sugar and water in a low to medium flame.

Get ready the ghee greased plate.

Roast the gram flour by adding little ghee for about 4-5 minutes.

Add this roasted gram flour to the sugar syrup slowly with continuous stirring without any lumps.
Add ghee and keep on stirring. Continue this process until the mixture becomes frothy.
Transfer this mixture to a ghee greased plate and let it cool.
When it gets cooled down cut into pieces.

Note:

In case if you forgotten to roast the gram flour no need to worry because the taste will be the same.
(When I prepared this recipe for the first time I forgotten to roast the flour. I felt sad and after it gets cooled down when I cut and tasted it was delicious.)

You can also prepare this by mixing the gram flour(1 cup) and ghee(1/2 cup). Then add this mixture to the sugar syrup and keep on stirring by adding remaining ghee.
