Aloo Paratha

Aloo Paratha - ಆಲೂ ಪರೋಟ 
Aloo Paratha

Ingredients:

Wheat flour- 1 cup
Potato-2
Onion-1
Coriander leaves(finely chopped)- 1/2 cup
Ginger paste-small pinch
Garam masala powder-2 tsp
Red chilly powder-1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Ghee- 4-5 tsp

Method:

Cook the potato; peel off and mash the cooked potatoes.
Finely chop the onion, green chilly and coriander leaves.
Prepare stuffing by mixing mashed potato chopped onion, coriander leaves, ginger paste, garam masala, red chilly powder & salt.

Note: You can add cumin seed powder and coriander seed powder or chat masala instead of garam masala.
Prepare a dough by mixing wheat flour, salt and required amount of water. Finally add 1 tsp ghee & kneed it well.

Make equal sized balls out of it and roll them enough to place the potato stuffing.

Place 1 tbl sp potato stuffing and cover it and again roll it to make round paratha's.
Heat the tava and put the rolled paratha.

Cook both the sides of paratha; apply ghee on both the sides while cooking.

Now tasty aloo paratha is ready; serve hot with raita, curd & pickle or chutney.
