Carrot Palya

Ingredients:

Carrot-4-5
Salt to taste
Tamarind to taste
Jaggary to taste
Grated coconut- 2 tbl sp
Oil- 2 tsp
Red chilly- 1
Urad dall-1 tsp
Mustard seeds- ¼ tsp
Curry leaves- 1 strand

Method:

Wash the carrots and finely chop them.

Take 2 tsp oil in a pan & fry the red chilly, urad dall & mustard seeds. Finally add curry leaves.

Now add chopped carrot,salt, jaggary, tamarind & water; cook well until water evaporates.

Finally add grated coconut & mix it well.
