Ingredients:
  • Bengal gram flour - 1 cup
  • Asafoetida- One small pinch
  • Turmeric powder- Pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter/hot oil/hot ghee- 2 tblsp
  • Oil to fry
Method:

1. Prepare a thick smooth dough by mixing bengal gram flour, asafoetida, turmeric powder, salt and required amount of hot water. Finally add butter/hot oil/hot ghee and kneed it well.
2. Heat oil in a pan; take dough in chakli maker and press khara sev into the oil & fry light brown.
3. Let it cool to room temperature and store in an airtight container.
