Ragi roti

Ragi roti - ರಾಗಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ 

Ingredients:


Ragi flour- 2 cups
Onion(finely chopped)- 2 tblsp
Coriander leaves(finely chopped)- 1 tsp
Curry leaves(finely chopped)- 1 tsp
Green chilly(finely chopped)- 1
Ginger paste- 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds- 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste

Method:


1. Mix all the ingredients to prepare a thick dough, add little amount of water.

2. Spread few drops of oil on a plastic sheet or banana leaf, take lemon sized dough & pat roti evenly. Take care while transfering the roti from the sheet to the tava. If you are using banana leaf to pat the roti place  upside down on the tava & remove the leaf after 1  minute.
3. Cook both sides by covering a lid, drizzle few drops of oil to both sides of roti.

4. Serve ragi roti with sambar or subji or coconut chutney or chutney powder
