Rice flour Roti


Rice flour Roti -  ಅಕ್ಕಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ 

Ingredients:

Rice flour- 2 cups
Grated carrot- 2 tblsp
Grated coconut- 2 tblsp
Onion(finely chopped)- 2 tblsp
Coriander leaves(finely chopped)- 1 tblsp
Green chilly(finely chopped)- 1
Ginger paste- 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste

Method:

1. Mix all the ingredients to prepare a thick dough, add little amount of water.

2. Spread few drops of oil on a plastic sheet or banana leaf, take lemon sized dough & pat roti evenly. Take care while transferring the roti from the sheet to the tava. If you are using banana leaf to pat the roti place  upside down on the tava & remove the leaf after 1  minute.

3. Cook both sides by covering a lid, drizzle few drops of oil to both sides of roti.

4. Serve crispy rice roti with sambar or subji or coconut chutney or chutney powder.
