Banana Halwa - ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣಿ ನ  ಹಲ್ವ 

Banana Halwa
  • Ripe bananas-  5
  • Sugar- 1 1/2 cup
  • Ghee- 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder- 1 tsp
  • Nuts and Raisins- 1/2 cup (almonds, cashews, dry grapes)


1. Peel the bananas, chop into round pieces.
2. Mash into pulp.
3. Take this banana pulp in a pan, add sugar and stir it in a medium flame.

4. When all the sugar dissolves; add ghee and stir occasionally to avoid sticking to the bottom in a low flame.

5. Cook until the mixture turns light brown.

6. Add cardamom powder.

7. Garnish with nuts and raisins.
8. Let it cool and then cut into your desired shapes & serve.
